Yes. Adults can have braces to address many issues. We love our kid and adult patients!
Every case is different. Depending on your needs, the average treatment time is 12-36 months.
Each case is considered individually. Some patients need teeth pulled to achieve optimal results, and some do not.
It is best to brush after every meal, and brush and floss before bed. We will discuss the best ways to keep your teeth clean with braces during your visits.
No. You may get a referral from your dentist, but it is not necessary.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends having an examination by an orthodontist at age 7
Yes, you do. Your dentist will monitor the health of your teeth and gums. It’s very important to continue to see them during orthodontic care.
Check with us to see if you’ll have time to leave during the visit.
With an appropriate mouth guard, you can play sports. Ask us, and we’ll provide the mouth guard or athletic mouthpiece at no extra charge.
A retainer holds your teeth in the corrected positions while the ligaments and bone stabilize. Yes, you will have to wear them!
It may take some time to get used to it, but you can definitely play instruments with braces on.
We have a lot of patients, and appointments require different amounts of time. We are unable to schedule everyone after school hours, but we will try to be as fair as possible.
